Chief Informational Security Officer

The Chief Informational Security Officer reports to the Group CIO to ensure the development and implementation of the Group IT Security Strategy.  

Job Description

  • Develops and implement the group wide IT Security strategy
  • Ensures alignment with overall IT Strategy
  • Manages the performance, availability and reliability of all IT Security resources
  • Manages the Problem, Incident and Change management processes for Business Applications
  • Manage Group wide Compliance policy implementation
  • Ensures an effective communication between the business responsible / key users and the IT Department
  • Manages the Application Factory that provides commodity development for Run and Build
  • Supports major Group Projects in executing different project tasks and providing training to new project members
  • Set up monitoring and controlling for group wide Information security and its compliance
  • Monitor performance according to agreed standards and take necessary action to communicate/advise/assist according to performance levels
  • Provides Risk Assessments
  • Manage all staff reporting to the position in order to effectively train, evaluate, motivate, delegate and monitor their activities
  • Provides state of the art working environment
  • Maintain a channel for communication with other departments in order to establish and maintain effective and relevant activities and support in relation to the organization’s overall information security

  • Willing to travel
  • Education: Master Degree or equivalent, preferably in IT 
  • Very good English a must, any additional language is a benefit
